How do I search for a book?

To search for a book please visit the Harper College Library's homepage, found HERE 

You may access our catalog two ways:  

Quick Search
when you know the specific item you are looking for.  

1. Select the blue "Catalog" tab 
2. Type in your query and press Enter to view the results.

Advanced Search
when you want to explore all materials available on a specific topic, narrow down your search, and/or filter to a specific language, material type and/or publication date.

1. Hover your mouse over "Research" (found in the grey toolbar at top of page) and select "Catalog"
2. On the right of the search box, select "Advanced Search" 
3. Use the search filters, press Enter to view the results
